Blue Mountain Ski Area is the premier ski resort in Pennsylvania and has the largest vertical drop in PA. It is located about 15 min from The Steckel House Inn. The mountain is open from November until March.
Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom offer a wide variety of family activities at a world class amusement park. It is located about 20 min from The Steckel House Inn. The park runs from early May until late October.
	The Crayola Factory is great adventure for all ages. The factory offers tours of the manufacturing and history of Crayola Crayons and some hands-on activities too. It is located about 20 min from The Steckel House Inn.
The Lehigh Valley Velodrome hosts sporting events for the bicycle racing community. They host events throughout the entire year and are located 30 minutes from The Steckel House Inn.
	The local Governor Wolf Historical Society coordinates the annual Christmas House Tour with historical homes decorated for the holidays and open to the public. They also coordinate an early spring garden tour with tours of local flower gardens. Please check their website for the exact dates.

Jim Thorpe is a old railroad town offering shopping, eateries, mansion tours, hiking beautiful waterfalls, train rides, canoeing, kayaking, paintball, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, and bird watching. The town is about 25 minutes from The Steckel House Inn and is great for day trips or for dinner.

In early August, Musikfest is held in center city Bethlehem. The nationally renowned festival lasts 10 days and hosts great national, regional, and local bands of all spectrums. The festival is conveniently located only 15 min from The Steckel House Inn.
